THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU

The biggest reason I was able to do what I did and continue doing it is because of the love I have from family and friends.  They believed in me and therefore believed in what I had chosen to do.

A special heartfelt thank you goes out to my husband Scott Tinkham who endured all of the life changing things I had to do and did them with me in support. "I would have given up long before I found the answer out of sheer exhaustion had it not been for you."

My son, Garrett, who is a big reason I kept searching.  "I have big plans for being at all the wonderful events upcoming in your life."

My father and mother, who understood first hand what I was going through and never, ever once made me doubt my decision.

My sisters who never questioned my decision (well, at least not out loud) and continued to show their support and encouragement.  "Believe it or not I really felt good when you both told me I was 'too thin'.  Even in the face of cancer most women love to hear that!"    :)

My father and mother in law, who stayed strong for me and for their son and looked for ways to support our new journey to health.

My Knight in Shining alkaline armor, Dr. Robert Young.  "If it were not for your research, time and energy towards looking for the 'real' killer in this world, I am sure that I would not be here now enjoying the quality of life that I enjoy.  You are truly my hero and I thank you from the bottom of my 8.0 pH heart!"

Joe Duty, photographer and kindred spirit.  "Thank you for your integrity and willingess to listen."

To all my friends who I relied upon for their encouragement and support.  "I love you all and won't you please start eating healthier?"

To the staff of the Oprah Winfrey Show and to Oprah.  "Thank you for your hospitality and your kindness.  It was because of the segment you aired that I was readily received by so many of the doctors and researchers I spoke with over the months when I was searching for an answer.  Nothing opens the lines of communication faster than 'I was recently on the Oprah Winfrey Show'.  You opened the door for me and I thank you."

Peace and Blessings to you all!
